Viewing Deck Park is open from 8am to 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 11pm on weekends. The 22,730 square meter park features seven viewing decks complete with twelve binoculars. Taking a fascinating trip to the yesteryears, to a time when pearling was once the pillar of the country’s economy, is Abdullah Al Suwaidi, who set up the region’s first cultured pearl farm in 2005 on the very waters that had
produced the finest Arabian pearls coveted by royals, nobles and celebrities in distant lands. The pearl farm is located on a sliver alongside the sea and the mountains that Al Rams nestles. Visitors learn about the history and
techniques of pearl farming and try opening an oyster.

for those seeking an adrenaline filled day on Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest mountain. Professional instructors will
guide you along our spectacular route. Enjoy 3 thrilling zip lines as you traverse more than 1km along the mountain

A via ferrata (Italian for “iron road”) is a protected climbing route found in the Alps and certain other locations. The
essence of a modern via ferrata is a steel cable which runs along the route and is periodically fixed to the rock. Using
a via ferrata kit, climbers can secure themselves to the cable. The cable can also be used as aid to climbing, and
additional climbing aids, such as iron rungs (stemples), pegs, carved steps and even ladders and zip lines are often
provided.
Take yourself and your family on a journey through time. Visit the National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah and come
face-to-face with famous and fascinating historical pieces through a unique collection of archaeological and
ethnological artefacts.
Items of particular interest are a variety of documents, manuscripts and treaties between the rulers of Ras Al Khaimah
and Great Britain. There are also exhibits of traditional weapons belonging to the ruling family and archaeological
displays about the earliest settlers in the area up to the late Islamic period.
